A type approval certificate is granted if the equipment complies with the standards recognized by CRA.

Lodge a Complaint

We take consumer rights protection seriously and continually make efforts to guard consumers against marketplace abuses and anti-competitive conduct. The service providers are under obligation to resolve any valid issues consumers may face. However, consumers can freely approach CRA if they are unable to reach an acceptable solution to their complaint.

Import Authorization Licenses

Commercially registered companies in Qatar who want to import and deal in Radio and telecommunication terminals including GSM phones are required to have Import Authorization License from Communications Regulatory Authority.

Apply for Customs Clearance

The Communications Regulatory Authority issues customs clearance certificates to import telecommunications equipment for any radio communication equipment as well as the telecom terminal equipment imported by telecom service providers, radio communication users, companies and individuals. This clearance certificate is required for any clearance from the Customs Authority.
