His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al-Mannai was appointed President of the CRA in 2015. H.E. has more than 20 years’ experience and a proven record of success in developing and executing communications regulatory frameworks, telecommunications technologies, network planning, administration, and rollout.

Prior to his appointment with CRA, Al-Mannai served as CEO of the Qatar National Broadband Network (QNBN). He also served as Senior Director for the network rollout at Ooredoo. He holds a bachelor of science in physics and electronics from the American University in Cairo, and has numerous professional management and leadership diplomas.
