Information and Communications Technology Sector Taxonomy (ICT Sector classification)
CRA publishes for consultation Information and Communications Technology Sector Taxonomy document (ICT Sector Classification).
The ICT Classification seeks to establish Qatar’s national ICT sector taxonomy principles and categories to help better understand the ICT sector’s business maturity in Qatar and to establish a national framework that supports further development of relevant policies. It also aims to provide guidance to the ICT companies on mapping their products and services against an established sector classification.
Public Consultation on National Blockchain Blueprint
This blueprint was collaboratively produced by Communications Regulatory Authority, Hamad Bin Khalifa University and Qatar University to highlight how the blockchain technology can contribute to build an innovative and growing IT sector in Qatar.

The Qatar IPv6 Taskforce is a non-profit operational group created and managed by the Communications Regulatory Authority to drive, facilitate, and propagate IPv6 adoption in the State of Qatar. The Qatar IPv6 Taskforce consists of Government Entities and Agencies, Private Sector Enterprises, Internet Service Providers, Academic Institutions, Hosting Service Providers, Security Institutions, Finance Sector, Aviation Industry, and Oil and Gas Industries
