Type Approval
Applicants who wish to apply for type approval for Radio-Communication and Telecom terminal equipment are required to do so through submission of Type Approval applications on the e-Spectrum Services Portal [ https://e-spectrum.cra.gov.qa ], applicants (whether Type Approval Certificate holders or one of their authorized representatives) can create an “e-Spectrum Profile” but after logging-in or signing-up for an account on the National Authentication System (TAWTHEEQ).
- Applicants are required to follow the steps below:
• If you are not registered on the National Authentication System (TAWTHEEQ), please click on the “Registration” button.
• If the applicant will be the Type Approval Certificate holder, then they must first click on “Add e-Spectrum Profile” and fill in the necessary details.
• If the applicant (account holder) will be applying on behalf of another company (in this case the authorizing company would be the Type Approval Certificate Holder) then the applicant needs to click on “Request Access to an e-Spectrum Profile” and enter the authorizing company user number (this will be generated once the “e-Spectrum Profile” has been created).
